As-sal\u0101mu alaykum wa ra\u1e25matu Ll\u0101hi wa barak\u0101tuh.<\/p>\n

A\u2018\u016bdhu biLl\u0101hi mina sh-shay\u1e6d\u0101ni rraj\u012bm. Bismi Ll\u0101hi r-Ra\u1e25m\u0101ni r-Ra\u1e25\u012bm. A\u1e63-\u1e63al\u0101tu wa s-sal\u0101mu \u2018al\u00e1 Ras\u016blina Mu\u1e25ammadin Sayyidi l-awwal\u012bna wa l-\u0101khir\u012bn. Madad y\u0101 Ras\u016bl All\u0101h, madad y\u0101 S\u0101d\u0101ti A\u1e63\u1e25\u0101bi Ras\u016bli Ll\u0101h, madad y\u0101 Mash\u0101yikhin\u0101, dast\u016br y\u0101 Shaykh \u2018Abdu Ll\u0101h ad-D\u0101ghist\u0101ni, Shaykh Mu\u1e25ammad N\u0101\u1e93im al-\u1e24aqq\u0101ni madad. \u1e6car\u012bqatun\u0101 \u1e63-\u1e63u\u1e25bah wa l-khayru fi l-jam\u2018iyyah. <\/p>\n

Shukur to All\u0101h we reached the end of the 3 months. 3 months passed, Rama\u1e0d\u0101n, the third month, also passed. It is the third of the holy months. We are in the last 10 days. These are very holy days. Shukur to All\u0101h, the followers they came here for the sake of All\u0101h. Intention, intention is very important in Isl\u0101m. According to that intention All\u0101h (awj) counts their coming and going as worshipping. <\/p>\n

Tomorrow here is the day before \u2018\u012ad (\u2018arafah) but in Islam you look for the moon. Of course it isn’t like in the old days. In the old times, they knew the prayer times without a watch. They knew the beginning, the end, or the middle of the month that same way. All\u0101h gave people knowledge – they do things according to it. They say “Today is \u2018arafah, today is \u2018\u012ad”. We obey “\u016bl\u016b l-amr”(those in authority). <\/p>\n

There are mountains and hills here, we can’t see the moon here. It isn’t good to make it independently. That’s why we will follow the general order in our country. Especially for the \u2018\u012ad day – they celebrate the \u2018\u012ad here. By saying they don’t celebrate it some other place – you can’t fast. You have to obey in this country but you can fast before Rama\u1e0d\u0101n. You can start fasting one day before it has started in another country. There is no suspicion in Isl\u0101m. You have to be careful about suspicious things. Al-\u1e25al\u0101lu bayyinun wa l-\u1e25ar\u0101mu bayyin wa baynahumm\u0101 um\u016brun mushtabih\u0101t.. This is from suspicious things. That’s why you can’t smoke in the streets in a Muslim country because in the other country is \u2018\u012ad. While everyone here is fasting you are saying – “fasting is over.” Because you broke fast intentionally, you need to pay kaff\u0101rah for that fasting. That’s why Mawl\u0101n\u0101 taught us everything in a good way. <\/p>\n

This is an important issue. Celebrate \u2018\u012ad according to the country you are in. If they celebrate \u2018\u012ad on Tuesday, you will break fast on Tuesday. They do it on Wednesday in Egypt, if you are there, you do it on that day. If you are here, you can’t fast. Or in another country where they celebrate \u2018\u012ad on Monday, you can’t say “I follow them. It is a sin to fast on \u2018\u012ad day” and break fast. All\u0101h showed you the easy way. Don’t make it difficult for yourself. These are examples. Mawl\u0101n\u0101 only showed us the fasting as an example but there are lots of things. You’ll manage without hardship. All\u0101h gives according to your intention. He (jj) will be pleased with you. If you say “I know, they don’t know” then you’ll be like shay\u1e6d\u0101n. Shay\u1e6d\u0101n opposed All\u0101h. “How can you ask? I’m better than him. Why would I prostrate to him?”. <\/p>\n

These are examples. That’s why you have to obey where you are, without objecting. No fitnah. No division. We are all the same. Like we said you can fast as much as you like, whenever you want before Rama\u1e0d\u0101n, before the three months. There is no limit. Nobody will object to you or tell you something. May All\u0101h give us the blessings of these days, in sh\u0101\u2019 All\u0101h. These are the trading days. In sh\u0101\u2019 All\u0101h, today is an honorable day, \u2018arafah day is even more honorable. In sh\u0101\u2019 All\u0101h, leave worldly things, pray and worship more so that All\u0101h raises your stations and rewards you, in sh\u0101\u2019 All\u0101h. <\/p>\n

Al-\u1e25amdu liLl\u0101h we have reached end of three holy months, especially Rama\u1e0d\u0101n. Tomorrow last day for our country’s calendar. But for others – they are saying they will look for, sunnah also to look for moon, for new month. After maghrib, new moon you can see. But it is too difficult to see. And All\u0101h ‘Azza wa Jalla give knowledge for people. Some people, they are looking for knowledge and calculating and they, mostly they know. Mostly. Sometimes, of course, also there is mistake. But other people looking and saying they are they show, see new moon, they say tomorrow new month. They are not making like some countries, they have time for holiday because they are making from beginning of the year. Calculating and say to people – this day holiday, from this day to that day holiday. So they are not looking too much for seeing new moon.<\/p>\n

And al-\u1e25amdu liLl\u0101h you are all coming here for sake of All\u0101h. All\u0101h give you for your intention. Since you are leaving for coming to this area, All\u0101h for each step He reward you. And there is important thing also. Mawl\u0101n\u0101 was doing this for \u02bb\u012ad: he is making \u02bb\u012ad with the country he’s living. Like our country, they said for \u02bb\u012ad Tuesday. We must… If we are living in this country, we must follow, make \u02bb\u012ad Tuesday, not objecting. These Muslim countries, some Muslim countries doing Monday. We cannot open our fast Monday. Or they are doing Wednesday. We cannot be fasting Tuesday in our country. Because it is not our business. People who are government or in charge, they are responsible for us. And they have special people, they are doing this. <\/p>\n

So if you are opening your fast before one day, maybe it is like what these people they’re saying – so it is you finish one day [ahead] from Rama\u1e0d\u0101n. You cannot put anything instead of this. And you will be charged for this. And if you are not opening on Tuesday, also you are fasting on \u02bb\u012ad – also forbidden. So be easy, be relaxed and follow what your country. But if you are in Egypt and they are doing Wednesday, don’t open Tuesday. Everybody following the country he lives. Not your business to say this country open this. Because big responsibility. <\/p>\n

Mawl\u0101n\u0101 was teaching this for us. All time every year they were asking for this. Without fed up, people were asking asking. Every time he said this reply. Because it is right and acceptable. And we must do. And he give example from this to not follow your ego or your opinion. Because if you follow your opinion, you will be lost. Only follow jam\u0101\u2018ah and be easy. Don’t make party, separation. <\/p>\n

Al-\u1e25amdu liLl\u0101h we reach the end of Rama\u1e0d\u0101n. And it is very holy days, especially tomorrow. It is reward days, prayed days. And it is acceptable for praying, for du\u2018\u0101\u2019. Everything, in sh\u0101\u2019 All\u0101h, All\u0101h accept our du\u2018\u0101\u2019, make us happy with our gift what He give for us from \u012bm\u0101n, Isl\u0101m and \u1e6dar\u012bqah and to be in right way, to be safe, in sh\u0101\u2019 All\u0101h. <\/p>\n
